My cryptocurrency journey – Intro
Never have I ever invested in cryptocurrency. Digital currencies have caught my interest for a while now – I mean… who doesn’t when there’s a potential to learn millions from it — but my interest wasn’t compelling enough to drive me into action.
Being a person working in the Tech field, I am familiar with the concept of blockchain and its potential real-world applications. I truly believe that blockchain technology, which enforces decentralisation, transparency and strengthened security, has the capability to disrupt the big players in the industry today like in banking and finance, supply chain, real estate, retail, health, and even the government if they choose not to embrace and adopt this juggernaut in this modern technological era.
While cryptocurrency is the most if not the only successful implementation of blockchain as of date, I never really intended to spend time learning about it until very recently. Why? There is just a lot at stake given how immensely volatile this so-called “Digital Gold” is and I simply know that I didn’t have any funds that I can risk losing. I kept my eyes, ears, and mouth closed when it comes to crypto.
